Has anyone noticed an increase in deceptive advertising for gas prices?

Hello, I have to commute pretty far for work so gas prices are a big part of my budget. I have noticed in the last 6 months or so a sharp increase in instances of the price on the road sign not matching the price I have to pay at the pump, it’s usually obvious why when you get to the pump. It seems like stuff like this has been happening more and more recently than it has in the past and I’m wondering if anyone else has similar experiences. The increased gas prices are bad enough but it’s even worse when I think I found the one gas station that is 10 cents cheaper than everywhere else, only to find out I’ve been bamboozled when I go to start pumping gas. Has anyone else noticed this and how do you deal with it?
