Preferencing this with: My boss rarely let's me take time off. She constantly brings things up like when i took my dog to the ER … 3 years ago. im sitting on 300 hours of leave and lose leave every year.
She's one of those managers that “never take time off” yet she takes a month for Thanksgiving/Christmas and usually a month of summer. Not to mention the random days she takes.
Anyway, i recently found out i need surgery. And she's about to take her time off. The first thing out of her mouth was “As long as the surgery isn't during my time off, then go for it.” all while laughing. Not a single word of remorse or how to help.
I genuinely hate my job. Fuck capitalism.
