A while ago I posted about a manager who accused me of being drunk on the job (I wasn’t) and the fall out that proceeded after I reported the incident to my boss. Some sparknotes if you didn’t see my first post
3 times I was accused of being drunk by this person. Twice in private and I denied it, the third time was in front of multiple coworkers, and I addressed the severity of the accusation.
My main boss said they couldn’t prove anyone right or wrong because they were not present at work.
Over the next few weeks, my main boss became very hostile and aggressive toward me and even sent me home 4 hours early from my shift. (I’m a pool manager at a country club)
My main boss is NOT my main accuser, however she ended up fully accusing me and my lifeguards of drinking on the job. She would yell at me on the phone, and then whisper yell at me in person while gritting her teeth.
After a few weeks, I’m here to say that my main boss has been fired herself for her toxic behavior toward employees. I can finally go back to work and not feel anxious about doing my job. I have even gotten a promotion and a pay raise. My main accuser still works there but we are on better terms. Any of you who gave me advice on what to do,I greatly appreciate it because I used a lot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, I fucking won.
