Have you ever reported a place to the IRS for tax evasion before?

I swear that every “small business owner” i’ve ever worked for thinks they’ve invented tax evasion. As an employee, I kept my head down, but as a citizen and taxpayer, I feel frankly cheated and annoyed with these relatively richer assholes taking the money out of my public school system, my roads, my buses, so on and so forth. I’ve seen the IRS’s page on how to report, and the 15-30% finders fee, but wondering if anyone here has done it and what it was really like, whether or not it’s practical, and any other opinions there. And just to be totally clear, I’m not accusing anyone I’m currently working for of tax fraud at this time.
