Have you faced/seen ageism in the workplace?

I started my career at a public company at 20. I always have to act older than I am to get paid what I’m worth. I noticed younger and older people get fired easier (early 20s and 50s and up). In many jobs they want people young and hungry not older folks looking to coast.
