Have you noticed HR people act like fockwits and don’t respond to follow-ups in a normal fashion? When they finally do respond sometime they get upset they have to deal with an actual person. WTF?

I've noticed about 60%-80% of companies do not reply to follow-ups on their publicly listed hiring ads. This number would be higher if companies were not using off-shore SASS platforms to automate their rejection. This is troubling and annoying. Especially when the narrative companies are putting out is “Whaaaaa no one wants to work whaaaaah whaaah” For one, most of these companies job post spam, with paid ad jobs on major sites. Then they bitch about it when their HR person doesn't have time or staff to even respond to the shit. Then, they leave the ad up for a prolonged time, no updates, maybe its filled, who knows. Without ever responding to follow-ups from candidates. And I actually view this as unlawful, unsavory, bad business, and unethical behavior. Because at this juncture we've applied to the job: they've gathered ALL of our very personal DATA. EOCC crap, birth date,…

EOCC crap, birth date, race, home address, gender/sex, full resume, mini-essays, work samples etc. etc. etc. If this were a bank, or credit application, or HOA, or any other normal business transaction, the so-called employer would be required by law to to respond and reply in a decent manner. But many of them do not! And then if they ever do sometimes they are triggered… like upset they actually have to talk to a human. They're like “ree reeeee reeee we are a growing! We are such an awesome company reeee please don't follow up reeee”. Then they make up some bull shit. I mean if you want to call yourself human resources then at least have the spinal cord to respond to applicants in a normal way.
