I work at a job where hours fluctuate. I can have some, a lot, or none at all. I work there since I am a caregiver to special needs relative.
I have been working there the longest and I am not from this city where I live.
It is annoying because there is supposed to be something happening Friday night and yet I have NO idea whether I work it or not.
At the same time, everybody that works there and has been hired in the past while are all friends. In that they all grew up on this city, worked together here and there, grew up together or some crap like that. Very clique.
Then there is one person who wants all these hours and they are part of the clique and if they don't get hours to their liking, they talk about quitting.
I am so over these short notice times and these cliques. Anyone else have to deal with this stuff? What is your experience?
