I’ve been working at this job as a CNA since last August. I’ll be going on a trip this upcoming August and would like to request PTO from the 15th to the 26th. I don’t work everyday of the week; my schedule is Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, plus I have to work every other weekend. So for this trip, I’d be missing a total of 8 shifts. I had to take a week off in December to travel for my sister’s wedding and then in January I had surgery and needed 6 weeks. I’m just nervous because I feel like I’ve taken too much time off and they’ll reject it.
