Healthcare worker to remote work advice

I get the sense this is a common thread around these parts, but hell, I need to start my transition somewhere, somehow. I am currently a travel/agency ICU nurse (and will be a Nurse Practitioner in about 2 months), however, the burn out is getting to me. I plan to do bedside for a few more months, and quit at a specific target date, before the end of 2022. The golden handcuffs are just not worth it. I still remember being 21 and healthy, with more free time, and more happiness. Now I'm nearly 30 and… it's not looking good, physically or mentally. I want to go into remote work exclusively. At least give it a shot. I have enough money saved to not have to work for a good 6 months (comfortably), at most.

I had dreams as a kid, we all did. I thought a “stable” job would help with those things, however it just….hasn't (though it has caused an increase in my waist line and declining mental health).

Any, and all, advice is appreciated!
