Got offered to do assessment for an internship. The internship would last for a year before considering me for a full time position even though I have a masters degree in finance.
The fund offered a salary of $639 dollars a month which isn’t enough to cover rent and food in this city.
The assessment to get the job was like a week of super tedious excel work with little guidance, and high uncertainty if I would even be offered the job after doing that first week of free work.
I said after some consideration, I want to ask if they could accept $1550 a month given the internship would last a year and I got ghosted.
I guess I dodged a bullet…
