I’ve had something come up and I need to take PTO like right now and I work in a few hours.. i’m real nervous to send her a text. i just need to know if this sound reasonable?
Hello, I apologize for messaging so late but I would like to request time off for (today)3/28/22-4/1/22, i’ve had a family emergency come up. My grandma has been sick the last few months on hospice. i’ve just been informed she has declined rapidly and she may pass very soon. Id like to be there to help provide care and see her before that happens. i’ve reviewed my available PTO and I have a little over 30 hours, Im not sure if that would have me at 3 shifts and return on Friday or 4 shifts and return on Saturday. I appreciate you being understanding and considering my request on such a short notice.
