I work at a small boutique hotel, locally owned. I love my job and think it pays fairly.
However, I found out today through texting with my manager that the hotel is closing after Christmas for the winter. When I was hired, I was not told that it was a seasonal position. The most I was EVER told up until today’s texts is that it “slows down” after summer ends. IS THIS ILLEGAL? If so what can I do about it?
