As the title says, my boss is threatening to dock an hour worth of pay from our paychecks if we make a mistake. I’d like to know what laws there are that protect me and my co-workers from this. (from alabama btw) Is it legal for pay to be cut like this? We also pool our tips from the bar – could she take the pay from our pooled tips since it’s not technically our hourly wage?
