Help me please. Boss wants me to do something that I was NOT hired for.

So. I work for a vending company and we have these set ups that is like a snack and drink station and you scan it yourself and pay and go on your way. Like the check out isles at Walmart or something. Anyways. We have ONE driver that fills this type of setup. And she is having family issues, which I get, but she will not be here tomorrow. Another driver will also be out because his father passed, and one of our techs that will sub in will be out also. I. Am. An. Office. Worker. I take phone calls and shit all day. I do not run a route. I’m already uncomfortable driving to work. I do not want to drive all day tomorrow for work. I won’t be compensated like the normal driver who makes hourly PLUS commission. I do not run a route. I’m already uncomfortable driving to work. I do not want to drive all day tomorrow for work. I won’t be compensated like the normal driver who makes hourly PLUS commission. I will keep my measly $15/hr. It’s a large van. It has no rear window, tons of blind spots. I’m legit scared to do this. I did it once before out of the kindness in my heart. But after that, I said never again. And tomorrow 3 of the 5 stops are the biggest setups we have. Meaning elevators, stairs, parking far af away from the buildings, needing clearance to even enter, all that jazz. The job includes loads of heavy lifting, driving, and praying that nobody hits you, or the stuff on your cart going to the setups don’t fall.

I will add that boss is my cousin. They sprung this on me last minute, the workday is literally over in one hour as of right now. And drivers typically get to leave as soon as they get back to the office and turn their money in from their routes. Because I am an office worker, they want me to go ahead and do the drivers job, and then stay the rest of the workday in the office when I’m done.

How do I say no and put my foot down, without stepping on other peoples toes?
