I just so happen to work for the orange make up store. I have since January and it had been fine because I had nothing. I work a full time job plus this one on the side to keep the discount for fun. The last two months have been awful. I was hired to sell make up and be out on the floor but all I’ve been is at the register where I get zero help from other associates. This past shift I had to step away to help a customer and radioed that I was away from registered and needed assistance. There were five other working who could’ve done it. No one helped. One of our managers sat behind me while I helped the guest the entire time until I was done and made sure to be rude and condescending that I need to pass off the guest or let them know I was leaving. When I defended myself and said I did she did not believe me until another associate came up and said she heard me but could not help. My manager told us that the other manager had to step on the register to help a customer at the counter (oh no not one small customer) and that it’s not acceptable. I’m tired of this shitty behavior that were beneath them at this company. My next shift is Sunday and I don’t even want to go in. I’m not sure how I should quit. I’m tired of this garbage treatment.
