Help Support Hershey’s Workers – YARD SIGN FUNDRAISER

Hi folks. I'm a volunteer helping to raise money to support the 1,100 workers voting to unionize at the Hershey Chocolate plant in Stuarts Draft, Virginia. The workers will be voting in the next few weeks via mail or in person. The date of the election and process are unclear at this point, but one thing is certain: Hershey’s is intent on crushing the union effort. They have hired the infamous Labor Relations Institute to disseminate false information and anti-union propaganda. These “consultants” cost thousands of dollars a day to employ, proof alone of what workers stand to gain if they win. Hershey’s has also set up a webpage, WeAreHersheySD.com, to further spread disinformation to workers and disrupt the fair process of an election. Most concerning is Hershey’s plan to distribute hundreds of yard signs in the community around the plant. You can see what these signs look like at…

Hi folks. I'm a volunteer helping to raise money to support the 1,100 workers voting to unionize at the Hershey Chocolate plant in Stuarts Draft, Virginia.

You can see what these signs look like at BCTGM’s Facebook page, facebook.com/BCTGM or below this post. With deep pockets, Hershey’s has many tools at their disposal to bust unions, but they will not win unless we let them.

We're distributing signs printed by a union shop in Richmond for $5.20 each and designed in cooperation with the BCTGM. Every dollar you donate goes to buy signs for these workers. We have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to help permanently protect the right of Hershey's workers to determine their own labor conditions.
