Questioned the DM Today about my labor exploitation to no avail

I was first questioned by the DM of our entire district about why some particular thing didn’t get done (keep in mind, there’s 76 hours of allocated labor for my department and I’m the only one scheduled over here to get the job done). My response was, “I wanted to fill all of our specials and get the rest of the truck done, so that way our customers can get what they need and it doesn’t sit back here in the cooler” DM: “Does your GM not fill out payroll every Saturday? Why wouldn’t you mop back here?” Me, in front of all of our upper management: “There’s 76 hours of allocated labor for this department, and only 40 of it is being used. That’s going to cause little things like this to happen when I’m expected to do 100% of it by myself, am I wrong?” DM: “That’s something…

Me, in front of all of our upper management:
“There’s 76 hours of allocated labor for this department, and only 40 of it is being used. That’s going to cause little things like this to happen when I’m expected to do 100% of it by myself, am I wrong?”

DM: “That’s something you’ll have to talk to all of them about, so anyway…Yada yada”

Upper Management: “….”

So after much evaluation and conversations about being the only guy back here, yet still being expected to do the work that requires two people, I’ve given up on any thought of my concerns being heard. It seems that the only entity that may listen to me at this point is OSHA. I mention osha because there’s BLACK MOLD in my cooler and all under the shelves of my department that’s built up over years (I’ve been here 6 months and tried to take time to clean it, but then I’m constantly pressured to do other things instead).

If my concerns about the complete neglect of this department, which is slowly poisoning me and my customers, aren’t being heard, then I suppose I am left with no choice but to report my own store for this erroneous neglect. It’s the right thing to do, imo.
