Help with how to keep a record of discussions with my supervisor

I made a choice to move to a ‘no responsibility’ production role in a factory as I am nearing retirement after a long career in management. My supervisor was new in post and I have happily provided mentoring and support to a person I can only describe as erratic. I made a choice to move to a ‘no responsibility’ production role in a factory as I am nearing retirement after a long career in management.

My supervisor was new in post and I have happily provided mentoring and support to a person I can only describe as erratic. I’m not interested in any supervisory role and just want to do my job and go home.

This person has been in trouble with management and unbeknownst to me has been pushing the blame in my direction.

I need to protect myself and keep a record of his instructions to me during the shift. We are not allowed to have writing materials or use a mobile phone at work and it is a company computer.

Can anyone advise if there is a way to log/record his instructions and my consequent actions safely as it is hard to remember everything after a 12 hour shift?

I do have my phone on me but on silent mode.
