To whom it may concern, I am resigning. I have multiple reasons why, and I will list the most important of them.
• Apparently, sexual-harassment isn’t an immediate termination.
• Head-Cashiers breathing down associates necks, and accusing them of taking 20 minute bathroom breaks when in all reality they were only in the bathroom for 8.
• CEMs thinking they are store owners, and treating associates like cattle.
• Being employed for 2 entire months, and still not yet been allowed to complete the entirety of the ONBOARDING Training; meanwhile, being expected to scan an accuracy cart.
• Covid contracted from work being considered an “occurrence”
• Paperwork signed by a doctor being demanded to excuse bathroom breaks
• Being forced to work the same schedule as a sex offender (yes, being sexually harassed by *associate* makes him a sex offender) when I have complete open availability. I agreed to open, and close; you guys couldn’t figure out how to keep our schedules from intertwining? I work 4 hour shifts, it’s not that hard to keep our schedules opposing.
• Telling a store manager I needed to leave 3 MINUTES early, and her responding “days off need to be requested at least 3 weeks in advance” wasn’t aware 3 MINUTES was equal to 24 HOURS? I honestly thought she was making a poorly executed joke I am too autistic to understand.
All of this being taken into account, along with the fact that this location is never not hiring has led me to seek alternative employment. I was successful in my search. my name.EXC has stopped working; for the Howell Home Depot, at least.
