So normally I’ve been doing my 40 hours, working 4 days ten hour shifts in the kitchen for this breakfast cafe no issues with my schedule says the gm, however she is really strict on no OT, suddenly she ask me if I can work a weekend I said as long as my hours aren’t cut for next week(she won’t allow ot and will cut you early to hit 40 that’s it) she says if you can work great if not I’ll find someone else so I said no. 2 weeks later I noticed my hours go from 40,39,38 now this week I’m at 26? I feel like This is retaliation. Today I took a 20 paid break by policy, she insists I take a 30 min clock out break I, tell her no & she just stands there looking at me and finally says ok. I take my 20, finish up and head to the restroom, i come back and she tells me she clocked me out for a half hour bc I took 15min in the restroom? If that’s the case why didn’t she clock me out for the 15 min, she instead clocked me half an hour. Apologies for the long text this just feels weird.
Also another guy goes to the restroom for half an hour and no one bats an eye but if me or another coworker go all of sudden the world is ending..
