I've been looking for a software dev job since last fall. I'm trying to get into the industry, I have a bachelor's in computer science. I see employers needing devs but only wanting to hire senior devs with years of experience for a junior position. I've had 2 interviews that never responded back and the only other responses I get are the automated ones that tell you they went with someone else, if they do respond.
It's so disheartening. It's like no one cares. Everyone here talks about switching jobs to get away from a horrible employer, but how do you guys even get a job if no one responds to your applications.
I did everything right, I did well in college and did an internship pre-pandemic. At this point I'm not sure what to do.
