How big a deal is it our bosses planning major meetings on Eid?

I'm an athiest, but I have a lot of Muslim colleagues, and our managers have planned a huge mandatory day long meeting right on Eid. Is it me or is this an utter shitshow in terms of being inclusive? Is it as big a deal as I think?
