With it being school break for the week I’m currently at work more than I am at home. To give an idea I was at work from 7am to 7pm today. It’ll be even worse than this in the summer break, shifts may likely be 7am to 9pm.
I come home feeling really burned out. I have no time to do anything I enjoy because by the time I get home I have to cook dinner and then it’s off to bed.
I do have weekends off, but again, I can’t even spend that time doing the things I enjoy because I’m having to recover from being at work all week because my body is exhausted and I’m on the verge of bursting into tears from stress at all times.
Work makes me feel bad for taking days off too. I’ve tried talking to my manager about the possibility of doing a 4 day week instead but nobody is taking my concerns seriously.
