How can I explain job hopping and gaps in work history?

I don’t want to post in any job-related subreddits bc I’d like advice from people w similar views on work as me so sorry if this doesn’t fit. I was working full time (at various places) from March 2021 until March of this year as a microbiologist/lab tech/analyst (whatever you want to say lol). Anyway, any advice on how I can reword shit or just lie will be helpful! Anymore context needed I can answer. I just didn’t want a wall of text.
