I know people at my company have taken months off for a variety of reasons. Since we work from home we never usually get the details. Anyway, I'm off the rest of this week which is the first full week I haven't taken in now two full years. I used to travel a lot but since the pandemic embraced staying out with my job. So, my mom said I should see about taking the whole month off. My 91 year old grandfather is not doing well and my 35 year old cousin is being sent to hospice. Not that this is too emotional for me but more I want to be around for my family. I'm in sales and I'm already naturally stressed how far behind I'll be this month in numbers by missing the first three days. I have 50k saved for a home but basically no sense in pursuing due to the market conditions in my area. I'm not sure if I need an “excuse” or just go to boss and request a month due to personal reasons?
