how do I learn to “do the minimum”?

I'm working as a waiter in a huge shitty hotel currently while I figure out where the he'll to go in life. Been here for quite some time and it's been pretty stressful. Work conditions are awful and getting worse, shitty customers, shitty management, shitty pay. Well now I want to start putting minimum effort for minimum wage but I really don't know how if that makes sense. I feel too bad for my coworkers most of whom are young teenagers who received no training and at certain times some customers who get treated to some horrible service from different coworkers. I get home every night exhausted. You know those elderly relatives who will mention their “bad back”, “bad shoulder” or “bad knee” etc from a lifetime of work. Well i have most of them at 21. This isn't what I wanted for my 20s. This isn't what I wanted…

I was practically an expert at slacking off in school and doing just enough to get by, but here it's impossible for me.

My figuring life and direction out is a cemetery separate issue. But in the mean time, I need money. But I also need to not collapse and have my body age 20 years quicker in the process.

How do you all do it? Give me some minimum effort life hacks. The only one I've learned is to start smoking for more breaks but now I'm just damaging my body in a different way
