I recently left my retail pharmacy job of 2 years for a much better paying hospital pharmacy job. I thought this would be the holy grail I was looking for but it has been terrible. Piss poor training, really catty employees (in the pharmacy and in the rest of the hospital), mean pharmacists, crappy hours (3:30-12), and just chaos in general. It is busy and nothing is organized. It is also very repetitive though and I can't stand Pyxis machines (IYKYK).
So I applied to a small independent retail pharmacy and they extended an offer. 9-7 5 days a week and even better pay! The drive is farther but it seems like a much much better place to work.
I don't want to just no call no show the hospital but I'm scared to tell my manager in person because she is really mean sometimes. I'm still training so me quitting shouldn't affect much in terms of coverage. Should I text her over the weekend? Leave a notice in person?? I don't even know
