How do I talk to my conservative Dad?

Hi reddit. I'm a younger millennial (left leaning) and my Dad is a baby boomer conservative. We tend to get into political arguments about the way society is going. I've been interested in work and wage reform, but I have a hard time making the best concise, concrete arguments when trying to explain why things are more unfair for my generation than the boomer gen. He seems to try to listen to me, but really disregards a lot of the things I've been reading on work reform, lost generation, A Boring Dystopia, etc. What are the best arguments for our movement that may convince my boomer dad: socialized medicine (why it can work here and not just in europe), wealth inequality (generational wealth), unfair wages (bad/no unions anymore, poor benefits, inflation), home ownership (why it's so hard to buy homes right now, companies buying up housing, etc) …

What are the best arguments for our movement that may convince my boomer dad:

socialized medicine (why it can work here and not just in europe), wealth inequality (generational wealth), unfair wages (bad/no unions anymore, poor benefits, inflation), home ownership (why it's so hard to buy homes right now, companies buying up housing, etc)

He often shuts me down with “your gen just needs to work harder like we did”, “you need to take personal responsibility” “bootstraps” etc. Anyway, you get the idea.

Thanks in advance.
