I accepted a full-time position after working at this company part-time for the last year and a half. The only problem is that it’s hourly pay. I usually like to get my work done as fast as possible and my workload each day takes me about 4-hours of uninterrupted work.
I know that’s about the amount of time most employees actually work in a day, but being in an office, there’s usually no incentive to get your work done as fast as possible if you’re not behind.
Should I just lie on Paychex and say I’m working 8-hours a day?
I really want to make this work as I have severe anxiety issues/chronic insomnia and this job doesn’t require me to interact with others too much and I can work at 3 AM when I can’t sleep. I cannot keep a stable schedule to save my soul.
