How do people live like this?

I recently started full time work, and I just don’t see how people can enjoy the grind. It’s only been a few days to be fair, and everyone at work is nice and even the boss is nice, so I’m not exactly saying I landed a terrible job for my experience. The pay is also just better in Australia so it’s not even the money that’s the problem. But how in the hell do people do this for years and years?! Sure, I have the weekends, but that leaves no time for my Music Production goals that I have been working on before this job, it leaves me no time for my girlfriend, alone time, and I guarantee my family will always want something from me. How do you live like this? Worse, how do people enjoy such a routine?!
