Hi I’m a 17 year old who works as a front end employee at a grocery store in DuPage county, IL. <- (remember that county) I’m still in high school, but despite this I manage 40 hours a week. I actually used to get more but for whatever reason were cutting front end payroll and our total of 3 employees (lmao) aren’t getting any overtime. I’m kidding, but overtime has been severely limited, as i used to do 12 hour shifts on weekends once in a while (4 hours overtime) and now do 8 hours by the minute haha. These are just a few of the things i’ve done
- 08:00-22:00, 14 hours
- 17 straight days, tho mostly 4 hour shifts i had a little overtime thrown in
3.Oh and i got paid 12 an hour
I think I should quit, and I have put my 2 weeks in for the second time but I need money to go to college and afford food and stuff while i’m there so i really can’t
