As title says, I’ve stolen maybe three or four things from my work. They have all been good because I lack self control and was hungry. I’m not proud of it, and I’m fact I feel horrendous guilt. It’s genuinely an issue I have — no self control, and I have a stupid amount of mental issues that just make me think ‘hmm.. definitely fine!’ When it’s not.
My mother tells me I will be caught, but I figured I would have by this point. But then she told me sometimes they wait til you steal enough, then confront you so you pay more in return to it and what not. And get a criminal record, obviously. Is this true? How likely is this?
I work overnight and clean in a restaurant kitchen, I clean everything in it and clean out around the outside of the area too. I’m never suspicious or weird about it, I kind of just look at stuff because I do arrange items, and sometimes I will just keep a hold onto something but keep it aside and take it. I’m not rich in any means, and often I don’t have a lot of food at home. And when we do, they’re is always some sort of issue with it — let it be me not allowed to eat it, or just nothing safe for me.
I work with only 5 people, including myself. And the last two days of my work week is only 4 including me. I’ve been working here maybe around 3 months almost now. Do you think this is what the theyre doing? Sorry for the ramble, I have severe paranoia and blah blah blah, so I just have been stressing out. I’m not proud of myself.
