After reading the story of the 17 year old girl murdered by her co-working, it got me wondering why a minor “needs” to be working at all. I started working around that age and I was a “late bloomer” among my social group. Most people started working even younger.
How many people here started working at 14, 15, 16? My brother at 15 would go to work after school, start his shift at 4 PM, end work at midnight, and then go to school again the next day.
It's just so sad. I've met a lot of people from European countries and outside the UK, none of them started working when they were minors.
