i don’t feel that i am being paid enough, so i am asking how much people think this job should pay.
Title: supervisor at a grocery store (east coast)
– required to work on weekends
– no set work schedule
– 1-2 days off a week (not consecutive)
– NO BREAKS (there is nobody to cover for you)
– required to bring orders to customers in, heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.
– flexible schedules
– required to stand the entire shift (there are also no chairs at work, only in the break room, and as above, you get no break)
– must work holidays
and these are now my personal opinions /experiences:
– EXTREMELY rude coworkers
– (rude customers are to be expected so i guess it doesn’t give much)
– SOOOOO cold in the store everyday (i wear 2 shirts, 2 jackets, 2 pairs of pants in winter and am still cold)
– i have never shown up late
– i come in w an exceptional attitude every single day
– i do exactly as im told
– i am kind to others and provide great service
– i only ever call off if i am sick
