So I was on a call with a recruiter that was obviously a third party outsourced company. They told me that they wanted to get me ready for a job. I asked the simplest question in the world “How much does this job pay?” At first he tried to deflect by pretending he didn't hear me and kept telling me about what I would be doing. I asked again “How much does this job pay?” He then said it would be reflected on my W2 for. I told him “That's not answering my question, give me a number on how much this pays.” Again he said he wouldn't be able to until I started filling out paperwork. Immediately hung up on him. He then tried to call back, I put him through screening and he hung up. Be careful out there because this sounds exactly like a scam.
