How to deal with burnout? Software developer 5 years in

Software dev with 5 years experience in the industry. I started working as a web developer 5 years ago with a lot of debt from school and failed business attempts, today I paid about 70% of it (2 years left to go). Started a new, demanding job in a startup 3 months ago, I’m feeling almost completely burned out. Whatever passion I had left in me for development is slowly dying each week (it had been like this for about a year now). I can’t handle poor and unrealistic management anymore and honestly I’m almost at the point of “not giving a f***” about my performance.

Without going into any details, I feel like the work environments I have encountered during my career have been nothing but pressure filled unrealistic toxicity pools, and I’m super tired of having to deal with that. I love coding, and I consider myself a decent developer, but shitty management have almost always ruined any potential I had of being a good employee while feeling fulfilled and happy in my day to day job. Always behind schedule, the code that gets merged is a hot pile of c*** because the top priority is always speed and not good code, which creates technical debt and this vicious cycle of bad code > features and bugs take longer > coding as fast as you can to try and meet deadlines > bad code.

Asking the veteran seniors, how do I deal with it? What should I do, just push through and hope these feelings pass? Try and find a new place (which is exhausting on it’s own). What would you do
