Like the title says. The lab I work at is incapable of planning ahead. They realized everyone is gone over Thanksgiving, as if it’s never happened before, and they’re terrified of losing a single cent.
Rather than tell our customers things will take longer to get out, they opted to put profits over people and sent a passive aggressive email, informing us that we are required to put in 20 hours of overtime over the next 2 – 3 weeks.
I fail to see why I should waste my already limited time on this crap. A failure to plan on their part does not constitute an emergency for me. The business bros in charge can eat moist dog crap. Any suggestions or ways to get out of the overtime?
