Throwaway account. Started a job in June and everything seemed perfect in terms of the role and duties, and I was able to negotiate a salary I thought was good. I’ve been at the job for a few months now and I’m doing the work of two people and am looking to quit by early December. I’m at an will employee but will still give my two weeks out of courtesy. I was told we would be getting a week of paid time off at the end of December. I will also be on vacation by then. Should I wait it out for another 2 weeks after the extra paid time off? In case they just drop me if they don’t want to pay me for that extra week for no work? Thoughts?
