Ok, so I know this is probably a dumb question to ask, but I’m just nervous because I’ve never done this before. So I’ve been working at a retailer for the past 2 months and my parents are finally closing on a house that’s far from this store. I don’t want to commute 1 hour for a $15 per hour job, so Im most likely going to be putting in my 2 weeks. My questions are:
1) is there a time to do this? Like beginning of a shift or end of shift?
2) should I write a resignation letter, or is that overkill for a retail job position?
3) do I have any leverage asking for a transfer to another store close by if I’ve only worked there for 2 months? (I guess if they fire me that would automatically be out the window)
