This is a very old and well known story.
A bunch of chains come into town and pretty much put the local mom and pop store that sell the same or similar products out of business.
As a US citizen how can I attempt to make an impact on our county’s legislation so as to influence their policies allowing chains to set up shop?
I have a bunch of mom and pop store owners willing to sign petitions, but I feel that will hardly make an impact. Are there any city councils or town meetings we can attend to lodge our complaints?
