How to politely say no to working a weekend?

I’m a new grad in a QA role, only 2 months in so i’m still on probation. Due to my work permit, I cannot look for another job or switch jobs until 6 months from now. Even though it’s only been 2 months, I was not given any training, and was thrown into the middle of a highly stressful project at a Big 5 Bank in Canada. This is the 3rd time in the past month that i’m being asked to work weekends to make up for the delays caused by the dev team. I am being rushed, and am also fresh out of surgery from last week, so I really don’t want to spend this weekend working as well — I’d rather rest and recover from my illness. Is there a way to politely refuse working this weekend without risking losing my job? I already took the first 2…
