As much as I love activism and understanding how the workforce isn’t meant to benefit us, it gets pretty depressing sometimes. I’m genuinely worried about my future. I’m 20 and have roughly 12 chronic illnesses and if I can’t pay for medical insurance I’m going to die (that’s not an exaggeration btw I almost died at 18 due to an organ perforation). I’m still covered by my family for now, but what’s next? Usually I’d put on some Dead Kennedys or something and jam out until the anxiety is gone but that’s only a short term solution.
Does anyone have any good news? Any wins in terms of workplace reform? I just need something to give me a bit of hope.
Sorry for the rant. I don’t really have anyone to vent to.
