I have been asked to do work that is my managers with last 2 employers. So I left hoping it would be different at new one and guess what? They are forcing me to do the same. I am a high performer with an MBA. When they find out my capabilities they dump the director’s work on me. When I address it professional and gently they say you can get more pay or title increase later. I have been burned twice and don’t want to play that game anymore. So I just want to work my wage. New employer is not having it. I addressed it with supervisor and VP pulled me aside and scolded me. Also offered for me to do high level multiple projects for his SVP with no salary increase or title increase because she is very impressed with me. They will not accept no. This is NOT what I was I was hired to do.
What are my options? Is this even legal?
