How to use salary transparency data to secure raise? (NYC, US)

Recently, a law came into effect where all job posts for positions in NYC must show a salary range. Now that there's (a bit) more transparency on salary information, and that raise/bonus budgets for next year are getting finalized, could someone savvy please offer some ways we could use this new info to get higher pay in the next year?
