Hr refuses to take action against a creeper

So this is a little ongoing story. So last weekend my friend was working at Zehnder’s Splash Village. There their ex took their phone and went through it for around 15 minutes. The iPhone usage app + sercuity cameras at the place confirmed this took place. Middle management warned that ex and the next day they admitted what they did to my friend. Logically, the next step is to let HR and upper management know and let them figure out this huge breach in privacy. They declared that nothing can be done because my friend’s phone was in an “easily accessible place” when it was taken. (On a shelf in a maintenance closet). So nothing will be done to the ex who did this and obviously my friend, their family, and friends are upset at this. This is just a little rant as I don’t know what more could be…

I wrote a review and spread the message locally but it might not have enough impact. I just wish we can hold HR accountable so they can actually do their job and hold bad employees accountable… (the ex did this twice actually, it’s just that everyone found out it was them the second time)
