HR who didn't truly fight my corner and who fired me while I was crying my eyes out called me up to pitch sister companies services after she saw me on LinkedIn and then after via email asked me for a coffee.
I was on an extended probation and in the last few weeks my work was practically flawless, my manager was happy and other directors too so being fired on the spot at a 3pm meeting was embarrassing in an office environment. This company made us work from 7am-6pm minimum every single day and 9am every weekend day for at least 2 hours.
I was nice on the call with HR and via email but didn't feel that way.
What should i do?
EDIT: I'm three months into my new role and doing very well.
