Husband’s employer doesn’t seem to understand the severity of brain surgery

My husband had brain surgery and spent a month in the neuro icu last year. He has recovered enough to go back to work. His personality has changed along with horrible mood swings and lack of empathy and impulse control. He’s pretty good at masking it in front of others. He’s recently getting much worse at home and his doctor says he needs more treatment and shouldn’t drive. They told me to email his HR and let them know that. Instead of helping in any way, the hr lady told him she doesn’t want me to contact her anymore and she’s “on his side”. His boss won’t even take my calls. My husband has now left with all his belongings and changed his direct deposit. He’s making poor decisions and I’m worried. For a bunch of people that called themselves “family” when he was in the hospital, they sure aren’t…
