Antiwork

I (61 Female) hate my job and the people I work with, but it’s so flexible and I don’t think I can find another job with the same work flexibility.

How do you decide when you’ve had it and can’t take anymore crap from people you work with. I’ve been in this position for 12 years, but with this organization only four since we were purchased by a larger company. I’m in sales and I won’t bore you with the petty nonsense that goes on with the managers who are in charge. I need to have an income (my husband’s company cut his job last year when he was 64 years and 6 months old) so he’s not making any money right now. I dread going to the office and interacting with any of them. But I only go in one day a week and am a pretty independent worker so don’t talk to them much the days I’m working from home. I’ve thought about looking for a new job, but at 61 it may not be easy to be…
