My manager seemed annoyed that I had dared to bring my complaints to his attention (see my last post), he proceeded to call me immature and side with my bully supervisor, saying “I've never heard of any issues with her, why bring this up now? how do you think she will feel, knowing that you're making a complaint against her?” fuck how she feels! I'm bringing this up now because I was too scared to as a new employee, and because I want the reasons for not wanting to work with her to be known.
Not ONCE did this man say” you're right, that wasn't appropriate, I can understand why that would make you upset, that wasn't professional “. It was essentially all my own fault, I'm not giving them any options, and I left it too late.
He still wants me to put my complaints in writing, however I don't see the point. He's already made it clear they won't fix or change anything. I suggested changing my shifts or moving to another department, he rejected both those ideas.
I DID give them options, he just refused to accept any of them. It was his way or the highway. So I picked the highway.
It sucks right now, I've had one of the shittiest days ever, but for once in my life I said no and stuck with it.
Oh, and he HAS heard of issues with her, when the previous manager told him specifically not to promote her to supervisor, because SHE WAS A BULLY! But I guess if she's never wronged him specifically she must be an amazing employee!
Apologies for the rant, sending out my resume in the weekend, wish me luck!
