I work in telecommunications retail. I worked my way up from sales advisor over the last 5 years. I look after my staff, I let them choose their days off, I cover for them to upper management.
Today was bonus report day. My assistant manager got paid more than me. My sales advisors got paid more than me. I got a bonus of £6.57. I’m tired of working my ass off for these people just to get nothing. I’m tired of going the extra mile. I’m tired of getting paid fuck all. I asked for a pay rise and was laughed at.
I just wanted to vent because today was a bad day.
